LOCAL PROGRAMS MEETING LOCAL NEEDS. Every program is community based, neighbors reaching out to neighbors, meeting needs at the most basic level and bringing people closer together;

INCLUSIVE PROGRAMS. All programs are non-sectarian, serving all persons in need without regard to religious affiliation or participation;

EFFECTIVE USE OF LOCAL RESOURCES. Most programs are managed by volunteers operating in church space, saving overhead costs and leveraging critical dollars for vital activities;

ALL FUNDS DIRECTED TO PROGRAMS. Because contributions from the Diocese of New York and from Episcopal Charities' board members cover management and fund-raising costs, every dollar donated by the public goes directly to program activity;

ONE MILLION ACTS OF KINDNESS. Each year the programs of Episcopal Charities reach out more than one million times to persons in need.

200,000 PEOPLE. Each year more than 200,000 people, including almost 5,000 children, are reached by more than 90 programs.

CREATING A COMMUNITY OF GENEROSITY. Every act of kindness, every gracious gift, every involved and committed parish contributes to a community of generosity that has great power to affect change.
