A Resounding Hit: Black History Month Book Sale
Thanks to everyone who came out to support our book sale on Saturday, February 24th. Over 50 people streamed through the rectory of St. Peter's Church which is nestled on a quiet block in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. Book lovers browsed amongst the hundreds of books, DVDs and videos. We are pleased to report that a great time was had by volunteers and visitors alike. All the unclaimed books were donated to the Park Avenue Women's Shelter for their new library.

The Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter and Episcopal Charities would like to salute each and everyone who braved the chilly temperatures to support our worthy event. We truly enjoyed seeing so many of you and we can't wait to see you at our next event. All the proceeds will go to the programs of the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter and Episcopal Charities.
