Weekly Resource Round-Up: Feb 22, 2022

This Week's Resources

If you have resources to share with our network, please contact Tobi Mojeed-Balogun our Associate Director of Programs Support.

2022 Bulk Buy Application!

We are thrilled to announce that we will begin accepting proposals for our 2022 Bulk Buy Program! Bulk Buy allows us to aggregate food purchasing across the Diocese and means free high-quality food for EC programs. You can find our brief application form HERE! Please contact SK with any questions or concerns.

CityHarvest Workshop: Intro to Grant Writing

Start the New Year off by growing your grant writing skills and learning about what funders look for in a great application! Join City Harvest and our hosts at the Support Center for a three-part grant workshop series. In this workshop, you will discuss what makes a project compelling to a funder, and how to paint a vibrant picture of your organization and programs through the limited format of a typical proposal.

Register here. Please note that session 1 took place in January. For a summary, please contact Raffaella at rglasser@cityharvest.org.

We encourage you to attend the two remaining sessions if you are able.

NYSHealth Foundation Virtual Conference: "What’s in Store for New York’s Food Future?"

NYS Health will be holding a virtual conference on "the federal and state policies and pilot programs that can have a positive impact on New York’s food future." Panelists will discuss the role states have in: tackling food and nutrition security, scaling and replicating medically tailored meals and nutritious food referral programs, and Developing policy pathways that will enable the permanent provision of free school meals for all New York State public school students. If this is something you are interested or you would like to learn more about the program click here for the link to register and the full agenda.
